Hayisam was invited by HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler, to formulate the event in Ras Al Khaimah (Alinghi’s chosen race location).
Hayisam organised planning and initial implementation for all aspects of the event including venue and accommodation logistics, team facilities, spectator facilities, security, retail services, hospitality and entertainment logistics and facilities, telecommunication and infrastructure logistics.
Following protracted legal battles between the syndicates, Valencia was negotiated as a compromise location and the Ras Al Khaimah event was cancelled.
